Commodity, replaceable nodes. That's the common new approach. Nearly everyone is doing that today. It is tough for the small businesses, though, where they are lucky to have a single node. Works great when you are replacing old, legacy UNIX machines or something but when you are replacing a single, cheap node you generally can't find the budget to go to two, cheaper nodes.

Not that much different than the US. More extreme, but same idea. Just think of the Great Lakes as a coastline and it mostly lines up. If you consider the Mississippi a coast too (it basically is) then it really turns into that.

You can pick this up at most retailers. Even Staples sells this! Works great!

Not here, you go to a computer shop (that sells parts) for this stuff.

Don't forget when you've got a close estimate for your total requirements, find a power supply to ~130%. This will keep it in the most efficient zone and give you room to expand.

I ended up finding a better price closer to where I was staying than I was originally going to pay. Yay for me.

This PSU seemed to be a better unit than one of the other PSUs that I looked at. Research indicates that this unit comes out if the Chicony factory and I've heard good things about them.

I use my iPhone a lot when I travel as it is so much of a pain to carry my SLR with me.
