@JasGot I have a couple customers using the CP960 with wireless mics. They are awesome. They work great for large conference rooms or spaces but another really awesome feature is the mute button on each of the mics.

iPhone 8 and 6Plus we could definitely use here!

      Family or office?

Family. My wife currently has a 7, my daughter a 6+ and my dad a 5S. So while not a huge step up, they'd be a nice improvement and we could retire the 5S.

Meaning, when someone says pick a number between 1 and 10, I see the only options as choosing a number from the following: 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9.

The same, because that's what they said. Although I almost never hear that, normally it is from 1 to 10, which is inclusive of both 1 & 10, but between is exclusive of them.

      I didn't say that, misquoted?

That's so weird. I wonder how it grabbed that.

If you highlight text and hit quote it uses that as the quote and not the actual post. I read sometimes by highlighting with my mouse as I'm reading. That's bitten me a few times on here.

I knew that it did that, which is why I did it, but didn't realize that it didn't correct mark who said the quote in the first place. Seemed like a handy feature, guess it isn't, lol.

Quote only quotes the previous poster.

@JaredBusch said in Fanvil Dual SIP Accounts?:

That does not sound likely. If the second PBX was working already, why would there be some setting that needed changed there? The fail2ban block is understandable if you were failing to log in and caused it to kick in.

For reasons I don't exactly recall (something to do with PJSIP a year and a half ago) the ports were set to 5062 and the phone was set to 5060. Also, it turns out there were two places the port needed to be changed from 5062 to 5060 in the PBX, once that was set correct things started to improve.

Not exactly sure why the fail2ban triggered. I know the user id and password were correct when I was setting it up. But I did, while troubleshooting, change the user id and server ip to another identical pbx, perhaps, during this change, I bumped the original server with the wrong user id too many times while making changes.

Then I had to change the port at Skyetel because it too was 5062.

Everything is on port 5060 now and it is singing right along! One phone, two different systems just like your video clip.

@scottalanmiller Probably. I allowed it to install, and since there were no containers, I let it go. It finished with joy.

Should be fine, even if there are containers, it just changes how that package is deployed.

When you have "interactive" don't you have to be logged in for the task to run?

No, the only two options for Mode are "Interactive Only" and "Interactive/Background" the slash mean Or in this case.

Speaking of, MeshCentral is able to be behind a CF Proxy as of today. So we just turned it on.

What changed with MC that it can now be proxied?

Don't know, but that was the specific purpose of the 0.7.24 release yesterday.

But still, the cost of 1TB of storage in B2 is 10x the cost of Wasabi.

      I just looked; 1TB at B2 is $5/mo and 1TB at Wasabi is $5.99/mo

Oh wow, you're right, it stayed at 12 months when I looked at the calculator, I thought I chanded it to 1 month.

Those aren't even business class companies. Focus on that... consumer service and total lack of support sold at crazy high cost to gullible customers. Verizon, Comcast, Cox, Intermedia... these are the anti-shortlist of companies. The ones no one evaluating anything would talk to. Anyone who knows the vendors and basic business approaches would have ruled these out without having ever talked to them. There are loads of good vendors out there, these are famous as the "never, ever talk to them scammers." Other than Intermedia, famous for having bad support and insane prices, the others are ISPs, which violates basic business common sense.

That's not a rant, that's explaining what your tactics should be based on. Sure they are big, that's not their problem. These are shitting companies preying on the gullible. They have no incentive to make a good product or support the customer. They aren't cost effective, they lack modern (meaning post-2000) protections and flexibility that's just assumed to exist in any real business, they don't have good support, they put the customer at risk.
