      @JaredBusch But why robocopy?

      Because it does at least skip the ones with no changes.

      Why get convoluted with Powershell to do the same?

      Not every system may have Robocopy.

      it became part of theOS with Windows Vista. So anything running Windows Vista or Higher will have robocopy as a part of the Operating system (as everyone should be using higher than vista at this point.. I mean.. windows 7 is obsolete now.. sooo..)

      Windows 10 1709 is obsolete too, so really anything not with a support mechanism shouldn't be used. But @JaredBusch might be getting paid stupid amounts of money to support Windows XP / Server 2000

      For some reason, it would not downgrade like normal within chocolatey

      So I did an uninstall, reinstall of version 1.4.6, then pinned version 1.4.6 so it will not upgrade when the daily task fires that uprgades all packages.

      choco uninstall zerotier-one -y choco install zerotier-one --version=1.4.6 -y choco pin add -n=zerotier-one

      Of course I did it all via ScreenConnect.

      @JaredBusch So... now that you've had this up and running for a while, care to report on how that is going? Inquiring minds are curious. Particularly w.r.t. resource utilization comparison, performance differences, etc. comparatively. I think you were on Mongo previously, correct? Cuz I am right there with you on the license bullshit. All it takes is one bump in the road, merger, and wham, history repeats and next major version changes license again - only this time to something closed. Have no interest in betting on community to fork and continue. Need a safer bet. It would appear that percona may have already done so w/their percona mongodb offering but I wonder if that would continue as a full fork if/when upstream became closed source.

      TIA-- o/

      Well 2 years in, i do not run any NobeBB instances with heavy traffic so performance is not even something I look at. I have like 5 of these running for tiny personal projects that people I know have asked for my help with.

      @Pete-S Pretty much what I do not want is the status bar from these two commands.

      fwconsole ma upgradeall

      fwconsole chown

      Well, use grep to match for the progress bar then.

      First output stderr to a file and look in the file.

      I don't know how the progress bar looks when it's output as a stream of characters.
      I'm guessing every update is something like

      3076094/3076094 [===========>-------------] 60%<CR>

      In that case grep for every line that doesn't contain a [ followed by a number of =, > or - and finally a ].

      So something like:

      grep -v '\[[=->]+\\]'

      Or maybe even better:

      grep -v '\[[=->]{28}\\]'

      Above assuming there are always 28 characters inside the brackets in the progress bar.

      PS.
      Funny thing but there seems to be a bug in the forum software.
      I had to use an extra backslash to get the above regex look right \[[=->]+\\\] instead of \[[=->]+\\]
      They look right in the preview though.

      Didn't used to be that way. But it's been a hot minute. I'm sure 3CX has come a long way.

      They may have come a long way, but I don’t think I would suggest them to anyone

      Not likely. They were pretty bad in the past, both as a product and as a company. But not to the point that I wouldn't take a look again. But their licensing costs is high.

      And that is one of the few main reasons. IIRC- Isn’t 3cx based off of freePBX?

      Definitely not. If it were, it would be open. It's completely their own code at every level. It's not Asterisk based at all, so FreePBX wouldn't be useful to them anyway. The strength of 3CX is in their proprietary stack end to end. It's also their challenge. They are stuck doing everything themselves, but they also get to build exactly what makes sense for them.

      I will never buy Lenovo. I did not like them before they got caught stealing info.

      ALso, tha tis Windows 10 S mode. No thanks.

      Wait - stealing info? I don't know about that one.

      I know about Superfish - installed shim in network stack you couldn't get rid of to allow advertisers, etc access into encrypted transmissions
      and the BIOS thing would would reinstall the Lenovo tools under windows...

      That's what Superfish does, sends data back to a Lenovo "partner" company. They can steal any data they want, and you can do nothing about it.

      OH I didn't realize it was actually sending data back to partners.. I thought it's general purpose was to insert ads... of course, it could do any damned thing it wanted....

      Right, exactly, it was an unlimited capability device. It could inject or retrieve data in either direction. In order to inject, it would have to send back first.

      So, because Veeam reapplied the old snapshot, everything between then and now was lost.

      If I keep the old snaphot as current, all the systems have domain trust failure.
      I have a backup and there is only a single shared folder on here that will need restored.

      Because this site is only 20 Windows computers, and I wanted to stop wasting time after 2 hours, I went brute force.

      I disjoined everything from the domain and rejoined them.
      With that resolved, I restored the C:\shares folder on the DC from the last Veeam backup.
      Site is now working again.
      Veeam's replication is now also in the correct state to fall back the replica to the main hyper-v server.

      Not fucking touching that tonight.. I R DUN.

      Edit: Maybe not the perfectly correct answer, but the answer I went with.

      You can trying using auditd to audit the file.

      sudo apt-get install auditd

      Running sudo auditctl -l by default show no rules

      Create a temporary rule to audit changes to index.php

      sudo auditctl -w /var/www/html/index.php -p rwxa # -p = read, write, execute, attributes

      Run sudo auditctl -l will show the rule that was created.
      Now run sudo ausearch -f index.php | more to show what's touching index.php
      or sudo tail -f /var/log/audit/audit.log | grep index.php.
