      Anyone been involved in purchasing?
OM3 multimode fiber, pre-terminated with LC connectors and wrapped with a pulling eye.

Was just quoted this for 4 lengths. This is just the fiber. The empty pipe is in the ground already.

Per foot those runs come out to:
      8 strand: $2.80
      2 strand: $1.63 / $1.36 / $1.18

        The 8 strand looks reasonable.

I don't think Monoprice has any fiber with a pulling eye ready to go. Compared to that, the 2 strand does look a little high.

OM3? 2002 called and want it's fiber back.

Also, don't lay 2 strand fiber anywhere. You get more strands for a marginal increase in price. At least with single mode fiber.

Regarding prices for pre-terminated fiber you might want to check out Fiberstore (fs.com) for some comparisons.

Check the above link. They have premade multimode as well.

Tiny runs from building to building. I'll repull a store bought basic fiber if there is a problem. this is really not an issue.

if the fiber is bad once pulled, then it will be rejected and the supplier will replace.

                  Otherwise, it will never fail.

These short runs will be feeding a switch with 1-3 devices in each building. seriously not wasting time with more connections.

The quote is for the same stuff. The local supplier they want to use is ~$300 more than FS for the 8 fiber cable.
