Again the user seems to have lost the external monitors.
It seems that it is a permissions issue, thought it should not be. For a test, will add to the local admin and test. Unless there is a different option (sorry, getting rid of the Surface is not an option).
Yeah I really would love to have a Microsoft Book, but damn if it gets bricked out of the box would I be pissed!
Have you heard of this being a problem?
While I too think the MS Surface Book looks slick, first product in a long time I only really want because of the look, the lack of good lapability makes me not want it.
Yesterday my desktop overheated (needed to be cleaned). So went to the Surface3 and worked all day. Running about 10 tabs in between explorer (yes I use that) and Chrome had Skype open for IM and a couple calls. And listened to music on it via Pandora1. Did see any lag at all. My only real complaint is the brightness of the screen or lack there of. Compared to a laptop or my Ipad the screen is not as bright as I would like.
Good to hear, we just ordered one of these for a new sales person. If it is better then the Pro 2 (as many reviews are saying) then they will have no problems using it.
It is significantly better than the 2. I am really happy with it.
It's not a stiff hinge like a laptop has. From a lap perspective it's a major pain, I wouldn't expect the use of the SP3 on an airplane tray to be difficult.. but a lap on a train, yeah that would suck.
Plane would be better and if there is no lip on the tray probably fine. But most have a lip.
You would have thought. Mobile and RT could easily have been one and the same. They are for iOS and Android!
I was reading about the large amount of turnover lately in the desktop area in MS and these things be split was one of them. I hope this means we'll see them get on a better path.
