I e looked at Scad, freecad and such- found them to be a little overwhelming. This gives me something to build on, and an avenue to move to something more advanced in the future...

Learning FreeCAD
Trying to make an "adaptor" for my microscope to mount on a monitor armI looked at FreeCad, but I am starting with TinkerCad for now. So far have had pretty decent luck with getting 3-D printed projects going.
I like TinkerCad because I can create my widget at home, then login to my account at one of the local Maker Spaces around here to print the widget.
I created this for my son in TinkerCad:
And printed it on the Ender 3 Pro I received for Christmas.
A floppy drive case? Weird present

I got Pfizer, but it's by county here. My county just sends you to their center and you get what you get.
Sadly by second shot was to be today... and it got cancelled because we are in a major storm now.

We have multiple locations (7) for Cook County (excluding Chicago City itself).
When you get the list of locations, it tells you which vaccine the location has also. So for those that care, you could choose location based on vaccine.

Some how my 2.5 year old child was allowed to crawl on ome random cart of sleeping cots unsupervised and allowed to pull a fire alarm at daycare.
What the fuck, heads are going to roll

Sounds pretty good there.
The autumn sun is up with a gentle warmth.
Not a puff of breeze to detract from it.It’s quiet and peaceful.
Every so of the, the corellas argue in the treesThe toaster pops and the kettle is bubbling
Breakfast time on an April Saturday -
Also, while I think of it @siringo , that’s a good looking spot over there.
You still planning on that epic drive down the Canning Stock route?
-
@nadnerb yes, it's very high on the list.
Not this year though, I don't think the aboriginal communities are opening up???
Plus, last time I looked, it was extremely wet where the track goes, so it'd be a bit too muddy for me.
Maybe 2022?? -
Just had lunch, about to pack up my office. Have to break down my desk today!

Can't imagine having to do that - I expect everyone is excited.

Got the dietPi system updated and refreshed.
The tool set is pretty decent for a really lightweight system. I just realized that CUPS isn't a part of it,.. but that's easy enough to address. Have an old Dymo 350 Turbo I need to use,.. might as well attach it to it also. Need to check the UPS status / test the battery.
