Watching the live testimony.
https://www.theguardian.com/technology/live/2018/apr/10/mark-zuckerberg-testimony-live-congress-facebook-cambridge-analyticaI have no idea how these things work. But do they tell him/company what questions they are going to ask? Or do they just fire questions at random at him (that are on topic)
Pretty sure that they are at least partially prepped.

Just spent a couple hours trying to figure out why i couldnt login to ubuntu gnome desktop or remote desktop to it after upgrading to 17.10.
In the end it was ridiculously simple, and had i remembered that ubuntu used to use upstart it would have taken 30 seconds.
sudo apt purge upstart

Any bad delays for you? Which route were you on? Curious for my next foray.

Good morning!
Currently restoring a snapshot from a server in NJ, to a server in Seattle, WA. Realizing yet again, how awesome Vultr is.

How do people use PowerShell? Just opening it takes so long I forget why I was opening it!
Like @dafyre - I don't seem to have this issue. But then again, I am on a Windows machine. Could it be a Linux issue (of sorts)?

Literally just had this happen with @pchiodo looking over my shoulder. Took more than a minute for PS to open on a Windows 10 machine, which seems totally normal.

It's FAR worse on Windows than on Linux. Like 10x longer, maybe?
Maybe Windows users are just used to things being so slow that they don't notice?

I'd wager you have something going on on that system. I click the Powershell icon and start typing.
