Try using WoeUSB via command line. Here's what I did with my USB drive.

sudo umount /dev/sdb1 sudo woeusb --tgt-fs NTFS --device Win10_1903_V1_English_x64.iso /dev/sdb

@scottalanmiller said in Nethserver 7.4 install question:

I think the problem is selecting something. If you select nothing, Nethserver installs. I just did it, no choice needed and it installs the full thing.

Yep, that is the problem....selecting "Minimal Install" makes it a CentOS install, select nothing & all is good.

Hasn't it always been like that?

For those that don't know, even the home version has a file you can remove from the installer and it'll do any version. Once installation is complete, register it with the proper key and you're good to go.

Maybe with Windows 10, but definitely not with Windows 7 and previous versions. There was no home version of VLSC. I suppose there were files you could change, but damn.. now you're screwing with the HASH of the ISO.. no thanks.

But I think his point is that the VLSC version has long been a single ISO for many versions.

OIC, I hadn't heard this before... so I reported it..

I found the process I had used previously. Here it is here. Summarized below.

Make sure the VM in question is shutdown.
From the console xe vm-shutdown uuid=<UUID of Your VM> xe vbd-list vm-uuid=<UUID of Your VM> params=uuid, type xe vbd-destroy uuid=<UUID of Your CD/DVD> Of critical importance do not select Disk, ensure you select the UUID of the cd Repeat step 4 as many times as you have CD's that are unusable. Reboot the VM and add the device again.

Most of mine don't give away either, they sell, granted for next to nothing, but it's still sold.

or it's off to the recycler.
