I don´t even check them, just delete them.

I think people here are looking for domain wide solutions that protect end users from phishing attacks and the like. You may be able to spot a phishing email, but many end users fail....

Yep. Knowbe4 just helps us prove it.

So the answer is yes it is gone through the ECP and is now in Exchange PowerDOS

Well, if you Disable a mailbox it is not shown as disabled until 24 to 48 hours in the ECp. Also deleting the mailbox doesn’t translate on space save as the space is not changed on the DB.

Not worried about space. We created a shared mailbox for a calendar and then they wanted to change the name of it so instead of creating a new mailbox I changed the name and alias and then found that not to be working right so I tried to create the right name and boogered it all up.

      All good now though.

if you are upgrading I highly recommend www.runecast.com, if you have a small environment it's not a big deal but Vmware now days has a lot more bugs that it used to and it's easy to run up on one in a bigger environment, runecast will check for compatbility with specific hardware and firmware versions and tell you which firmware, version of Vmware and patch versions you should be on to be the most stable.

      @romo said in CSS help:

@wls-itguy search for the margin properties, headers usually have by default a lot more than paragraphs.

Usually people reset all the margins and paddings on the page elements to 0 and then set them to the value of their choosing.

For example, here in yellow are the default margins for an h5 set by the nodebb devs and shown in mangolassi.

Perfect example! See the spacing between student, SSN, and DOB, I don't want that at all or at least half of that 🙂

Also Hybrid Deployments I have only used it for customers that do not care for Exchange onsite to receive emails on mailboxes that are not in the cloud when the Internet is down. Hybrid Configurations a times need to be reconfigured (Meaning just running the wizard to confirm it is still in place)>

All good. I dove way too deep on this one

Turns out when I upgraded Moodle I forgot to put a log directory back in place and it was failing on the Apache restart.

I was just gonna ask if you're sure the service that's supposed to respond on those ports was running. That's the first thing I check anymore. Glad you were able to get it sorted.

For some reason I just went deep end because of Linode being involved. Oh well, lesson learned...I hope.

Yeah, we are mulling over how we want to handle the situation. We are considering splitting the scanning off to its own servers that will run at a different version than the main application. Or just waiting on SaltStack to get their patch out so that they can match on version again.

      Sweet 🙂

Although, none of my machines have checked in since May 30.

Yeah, I have a thread about that. That's not Sodium proper, it's the underlying SaltMaster isn't working. They've got a bug in the 1803 release that is causing issues.

You can test the autodiscovery with the Microsoft Connectivity test, you can also check if the SCP lookup is the culprit

@wls-itguy said in Zerotier Upgrade to 1.2.4:

Anyone had any issues upgrading from 1.1.14 or 1.2.2 to 1.2.4? I just tried upgrading a machine that was offline for a long time from 1.2.2 to 1.2.4 and it said it was already installed but when I looked in Add/remove programs it still showed 1.2.2.

Do I need to uninstall 1.2.2 and then install 1.2.4?

I've had oddball problems here and there, but generally, no.

@wls-itguy said in VMWare vSphere 6.5 loses licensing:

Anyone else have this happen recently? I got Veeam backup failure notifications last night and this morning saying that the servers being backed up were disconnected. I connected to vCenter and Sho'Nuff two of my hosts were disconnected. When I tried to reconnect it said I didn't have licensing. It took a bit but I finally got them reconnected and relicensed.

Haven't provided enough information, but here's why ours get relicensed often...

If you're a VMware partner, you get access to their Enterprise Plus licensing. That's very expensive licensing that they just hand over. But it also means that we have to go through quarterly and reapply licensing; VMware sends it to us, and we replace it.

Can you provide some more information about your licensing level, etc?

      Essentials Plus.

Does the license actually disappear, or does it just show that it is not applied to any hosts but the license is still in the console?

Not applied to any hosts. But when I finally got into it I couldn’t assign them. It was like they were stuck. Had to reboot the center appliance and then I could assign and then I could reconnect.

Sounds like your VCSA is jacked up (you're using VCSA, right? Not vCenter on Windows...)

I've had plenty of issues with VCSA 6.0, but none really with VCSA 6.5... In either case, just rebuild the appliance to see if that is the issue. Takes like 15 minutes.

I can't describe how it changed. It just changed. Almost as if because I said "IT Guy" it was as if I had said I am entry level tech support. Maybe I'll go the route of Jack and just say I am in IT or IRJ and not say anything about my actual job.

I'll tell them all I am professional fisherman 🙂

I often tell people I'm an unemployed college drop out. My wife hates that.

At my wife's Christmas party a few years back I was tired of telling people I was in IT and actually told someone I clicked next. Mind you it was later in the evening after a few whiskey ginger ales but I thought it was funny anyway. Wife was also not happy 🙂

I often say I'm a writer and researcher. IT doesn't mean anything even to half of people who think that they are in IT.
