You can turn any website into an "app button" on your iPhone too so you don't need to open a browser or navigate. Pretty handy for a few sites, like this one, that I go to constantly.

Some people who are on welfare deserve to be. Many don't but don't tear down those who have a legitimate right to it because of those who don't.

No one deserves to be on it. it's it's only an opportunity for them to get back on their feet. No one is entitled to get free money. You might say they deserve to get a better paying job so they don't need to be on it.

I can see where you're coming from, but the program is there for a purpose. The purpose may be good, but how people abuse the system is not. Again, I'm sure there are plenty of people who have taken advantage of welfare and then been successful at getting back on their feet. Like a kitchen knife, it can be used to make delicious food, or as the weapon of choice of a serial killer. The knife is just a tool. Don't fix the tool, fix how people use it.

In theory, yes. You should have so much experience, skills, etc. that it would take 20 pages to hold it at the same rate than an eight year professional would include stuff. Once you reach a certain point, like us, you start culling. When my resume hit 12 pages I started trimming it. I no longer put meaningless stuff like college / university work or my certifications on my resume. That trimmed three pages right there (over 150 certifications, six colleges.) I took out nearly all of my jobs and left only highlights (more than 40 short term positions removed and trimmed many pages summarizing it in just a couple lines.)

I shorted job descriptions to tighten them up. I'm below eight pages now and it is very tight. I've worked on it a lot. But you should, once you reach a senior status, be stuck dropping stuff that people at a lower level would hungrily list on their resume. I only list a tiny fraction of the major tech that I know, operating systems that I'm qualified on, etc.

I also spent several years working swing shift jobs like fast food, twenty four hour grocery stores and doing the evening and overnight shifts at hotels. So more than half a decade of jobs that required me to handle extreme sleep situations.

Yeah, I agree that it's a pretty lofty goal. However, that's who they are quoting as proof that they aren't a monopoly at this point with the recent acquisition.

I think that that is becoming less and less true. Quirky environments are becoming less and less the norm. The need to install locally is rapidly going away. There are still things that get installed locally but the variety and commonality is dropping at a prodigious pace and the isolation of programs is getting to be quite good.

I'd also like to remove the free consoles for Android...my phone uses the paid one.
