was awakened by cops last night, I guess there was a gas leak down the street. was up til 12:30-1:00.
wokeup at 7:20 and got dressed, on my way out the door I notice that my middle console, glove compartment, and otherwise were open, Im missing a 100.00 cologne, about $20 in spare change, everything else at first glance is there, apparently neighbors caught kids in their car at 2:00 something this morning.Happy Monday.

Welp, they have nothing better to do since they were awake and now allowed to be in their homes

Patching Windows Server 2019 (with GUI) template -- taking forever.

Seriously? wtf USPS... This thing was 19 miles away from me when it started and they decide to take it all the way across the country...
-
@bnrstnr the incompetence of the post office knows no bounds. I have this happen quite often... unless they deliver it to the wrong address.
-
@RojoLoco I specifically ordered this one because it was so close... Silly me, thinking I could get it in a day or 2 :man_facepalming:
Should have checked to see if pickup was an option
-
@bnrstnr I'm far too familiar with those feels. Hope it shows up eventually and in one piece.

Par for the course as it's a USPS Shortcut.
-
And yeah, only 19 miles, I'd call the seller and ask to pick it up and save them the postage. . .

The Golden FFS Hammer is like Thor's hammer. You must have the reputation to be able to wield it.

Our ISP's "solutions consultant" just came through the door and didn't even know we were already a customer... She looked over at the reception desk and saw a Yealink phone and said "you must be on our managed services plan.." um no...
Anyway, she said something about making sure we're registered with "NENA" (or something that sounds similar anyway) for e911? I've never heard of it, had to try multiple searches to even find something related to 911... She claimed it's like $250 for a business to register and absolutely necessary. Anybody heard of such a thing?

911 regulations are all local mandates through local/regional PSAP organizations.
NENA (nena.org) is not a legal thing.

Have I ever heard of someone with a BS title like "solutions consultant" trying to sell you something unnecessary, pricey, and useless? Absolutely. But I'd buy a beach front condo in Nebraska before I'd listen to anything that sales dick has to say.
