What application are using that requires Ubuntu?
No application, it was just the OS that had the latest version offered at the hosting company I rent the server from. Every single OS offered is so old it's laughable, and no custom iso installer is possible. Just one of a number of reasons a business should never use them.

You should just price yourself out of the job, lol. If they're still willing to pay for it, then... consider it, lol.
My guess is that the total project is six figures. It's their enterprise ERP platform.
