@scottalanmiller why install a proxy when Apaches here and working what is the benefit to having a proxy on the same server. Let’s Encrypt perfectly with Apache

Security and flexibility typically. Here is the admitted marketing material from Nginx on security: "Security and anonymity – By intercepting requests headed for your backend servers, a reverse proxy server protects their identities and acts as an additional defense against security attacks. It also ensures that multiple servers can be accessed from a single record locator or URL regardless of the structure of your local area network."

@scottalanmiller I haven't yet. About to give it a try. Stuck to legacy since that was what I was reading everywhere.

Where is everywhere? Technet says to not use legacy.

      https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server-docs/compute/hyper-v/supported-centos-and-red-hat-enterprise-linux-virtual-machines-on-hyper-v

Legacy is a fallback driver that you never want to use, it's low performance and high overhead. If you needed that for CentOS, it would make Hyper-V a silly, non-production ready platform. But Hyper-V is a good, solid performer.

Not only that, but I install all of my CentOS 7 VM's as Generation 2 when on Hyper-V they work perfectly with default settings for everything except secure boot. Uncheck secure boot. Everything else is 100% default settings.

So for example, if it detects that you passed the --socket flag if would hit that condition and then look for the ${1} which would be the following parameter and sets the socket variable to that value and tells it to move on or shift to the next argument and continue the loop.

Switched to the local database, all of the same settings. Worked instantly. From what I can tell, this is a Zabbix flaw.

I have supported FM server here for the past 5.5 years (Versions 10-13, so far). It is OK from a small-scale perspective but like you said above, you don't want to look small-scale, especially since you will almost surely trap yourself. As far as I can tell, FM does not scale well. Our FM guy is a co-owner and taught himself how to create and maintain FM databases and he is pretty good at it. However, I am sure there are things he has done that were taking the long way around with a sort of house of cards effect. I would say that over half of our business relies on the 25 or so databases he has created.

I supported FM for a company, NTG's second MSP customer, actually, for over a decade and it does its job well enough for what it is. But there is no doubt that it's extremely limiting in every possible way. They use it for a three person office that was two people in 2001 when the company started and grew to whopping.... two people over a decade later. During the summers they go up to three people for a few months during their busy season. For a company with zero growth and no high reliability demands (it can be down for a month at times without an issue) it worked fine. But, very limiting and they have had to pay a bit for it over the years and I'm not sure that a spreadsheet would not have been cheaper and easier.

That Facebook is using HHVM in production makes me a little more comfortable with it.

True, but I would guess that Facebook's application runs mostly on code that Facebook is responsible for maintaining. On the other hand, most WordPress websites have at least a couple of third party plugins and/or themes and those usually assume you're running on PHP 5 so there's a higher chance of stuff like this happening.

Probably wouldn't be an issue very often but I would be more paranoid about updates breaking things if I were running HHVM in production.
