Sadly the App does not show the names of the instances that you gave it. It only shows some number ID they use to identify them. Kinda makes the app a little useless.

@thecreativeone91 Well... it is a beta version, so hopefully they will continue to improve on it.

I saw the announcement and was all excited and then saw only a Google link. So... not so useful to any of us.

I'm frankly surprised it's only on Android right now.. IOS normally seems to get everything first...

I installed it. Haven't tried it out yet. @scottalanmiller, "not useful to any of us" is a pretty broad-sweeping statement, considering how many Android users are on ML...

Sadly this doesn't seem to matter. Since most people in positions of power to decide where to program these things seem to have iDevices, not Android ones. Even as techy as @scottalanmiller is he still uses an idevice.

Yeah, and I do admit Android had a lot of stability issues during the Gingerbread era, and even some issues during the Honeycomb/3.x era. The 4.x generation has been rock solid.

Android is simply not clean enough. Too many little things are such a pain in the ass. That is why it is not recommended at higher levels.
Eventually it will get solid enough that I will change my recommendation, but it has not yet.
Last week's example:
I (unexpectedly) migrated a client to Office 365.
I opened the mail settings on my iPhone and updated the connection information for the email account and was receiving mail. Done.
I opened the account settings on the owner's Android phone and found I was unable to change one of the settings (username i think). I was forced to delete the account and add it back in.One of these processes is good and one is a pain in the ass.

I believe the reason for the market share has something to do with how inexpensive their (droidz) devices are and pay as you go/gophone type service.
Most tech folk, atleast in my experience, prefer an iThisorthat for stability etc. that being said....maybe they're still developing the iOS app. that'l be fun.

We're definitely seeing a shift in who uses Android. Much to my amazement half of my doctors have switched away from iPhones to Android devices. I'm not really sure why they are doing this.
Some have said that their children have moved to Androids so they want to be there too, others have had issues with syncing, etc their iPhones so they are leaving for that reason.
Over the past 18 months I moved from a hardline hate Apple/iDevices to I don't care, have whatever you want, but I can't support your iDevice unless you want to buy me one so I can learn it - and they haven't done yet.

There's been a massive swing to Android here.
I like iOS, Android and WindowsPhone for different reasons. They all have their place. -
I switch from an iPhone to android. I hated android before but kitkat (unless it's been modified too much by the OEM) has changed a lot of things and is much better now, I like it better than iOS.

Most everyone I've seen has either stuck with what they had or moved to iOS devices. Not many, but what little movement I've seen is mostly still away from Android. But overall, I have little visibility into handheld device trends.

I try not to invest too heavily in one platform or another as I don't wish to be trapped with all my paid for content on a platform that I have grown to despise.
I still buy CD's and rip them to my computer. -
@nadnerB that's why I buy MP3s from Amazon. No DRM so no need to rip and far cheaper than CDs. And less effort, basically it is just the songs that you want already ripped for you.
