Got the appraisal back on my house - they're appraising it at what I asked for the loan on, so looks like In 10 Days I'll own a home !
But for now, Coffee number 1 day, grabbing #2 and going through the weekend stuff

Hey congratulations, best of luck with it all.

monday morning 9:40am. overcast and wet, the ground is anyway, reckon we had at least 1" last night.
looking for a new isp, oh the joy of doing that!

Bright and sunny with crisp blue skies. If it wasn't for the wind chill, I'd be considering moving the office outside 😛

1° C right now. Frost anywhere the sun hasn’t touched yet.

Gee you live in a cold place. It's cold here but not 1c, maybe 6c.

re-purposing an old 2012 server that ran as a DC and with RDS.
working on it remotely, demoted the DC and it reboots, can't log back in remotely, everything else looks fine, no way to get back in.
1.75 hour round trip to find that I should have removed the RDS role prior to the DC, removed RDS and all good.

                  You could've done that with

                  enter-pssession server

And then, depending on the server, https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/remotedesktop/remove-rdserver or https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/remotedesktop/remove-rdsessionhost.
A properly configured WinRM gpo is invaluable, and it should be among the first thing you configure for working remotely.
                  But you know this, right?

e sure to go to Las Palmas cigars. And Stranahan's. They're both family friendly (if your family likes cigars and whiskey).

Busy day coming up. Lunch meeting in Denton with a new customer. Then a 1PM with a potential new customer. Going to be running around a bit.
