@RojoLoco Riding home from work on my motorcycle like....
A wild Canadian Appears!
I lurk on occasion
Like a Moose in heat. . .
Those don't lurk and are commonly referred to as "freight trains of the forest"
0/10 do not recommend!
I've met a few in Canada. Not a good idea.
It's terrifying what they'll do to a car if you hit one, do not recommend googling that.

I heard Moose meat is pretty tasty. I might have to come to ol Canada and have @MattSpeller introduce me and a Moose (moose on the receiving end of a large caliber weapon).
It's god damn delicious. Moose pepperoni is one of my favourite things.

Takes a brave, brave man (or woman) to produce said meat, however.

Much like hunting a freight train on PMS that doesn't need to stay on the tracks.

In all fairness normal trains don't need to stay on the tracks either.

Just preparation and friends with strong backs. They're certainly not invulnerable to rifles lol.

@MattSpeller More bear and moose have been killed with these than any other rifle / caliber in Canada.

It's good but can be difficult to cook since it's typically very lean. Works really well in simmered dishes like a stew or ground up and used in place of beef on pizza. For anything else most people mix the ground moose with ground pork, otherwise it winds up being too dry. I'd never tried it myself until we moved to the spouse's hometown. Where's I'm from (PEI) there's no big game, so my first taste of moose was at the age of..... 23... I think?

No, but I am looking for one made in Toronto near where I lived. Nice condition ones that have not been cut up by bubba are harder to find these days.
Longbranch No4Mk1* is on my must own list.

@MattSpeller unicorn chase rifle would be this, No4Mk1* T

One of my Black Pearl plants has started to ripen the chillies... one so far, this season looks like I will get a good harvest.
My Trinidad Scorpion has a couple of flowers, so they might be ready by April but my Habanero probably won't have anything this season as I had to trim it (growing up too fast) to promote strengthening of the main stem (lost 4 -6 flowers) but next year will be grand!Wow, you're a bit of a green thumb, by the look of it. My gardening interests pretty much lie in mowing the lawn and agent orange'ing all the darn weeds that keep growing all year.

home internet down again. the nbn charlies are up the tower again. dug up the email from the isp warning us that this could go on for 7 days!
was off for 8 hours yesterday, had to use my phone's 4G, no noticeable difference in speed.
walked in at lunchtime yesterday and had to watch ..... free to air TV. if we had no netflix, youtube etc, I reckon i'd almost get rid of my TV.
Free to air TV must be under the power of some supreme power whose intention it is, is to make the masses as ignorant and mindless as can be possible via the TV airwaves.

@siringo Hey that's great though that he can do that. Its very cool!
