About to sit in on an interview.
Are you on the firing squad or having to dodge the bullets?
Firing squad. It’s for a replacement Citrix admin, so I don’t have much technical background about which to ask. I was curious to know what the candidate does to keep skills sharp and if they participate in any professional communities.
I am sure you made a *cough*shameless plug*cough* for your favorite IT community.
I did not, actually. Had $applicant mentioned they participated in any, I would've brought up ML.
ML is my go-to during interviews. Still looking for applicants? I'm still looking.
It's a position that's for our "senior Citirx Admin" vacancy. You'd have to move to Georgia.
I'll have to take a look. One good thing about being a widower and no kids, I have nothing to make me want to stay in any particular place.

Been there, know the weather, skeeters, and the ants. Not my favorite weather, but I'd still move there for a job. Most of the state is just great, then you have Atlanta where it can go from great to scary in a couple blocks.

@travisdh1 all that is totally accurate. But if you were working with @EddieJennings, you'd likely be out in the NE corridor of town. Lots of great food out that way, plus fewer sketchy neighborhoods.

Angry as F... as Windows 10 has been lost - again... damn thing can't figure out what video is on the ASUS board anymore.. that means that everything is borked again. This angers me of course as I did have things to do in Windows, but will be forced to rely on Fedora until I can decide what I want to do with it... Nuke it or just... This PC is really staring to grind my ...
now,.. Guess that I am back, and mostly working,.. It's time for a MY Monday.. sigh..
