@StrongBad there were IT shops without Internet access. But the IT profession is post 1970. And since The Internet came from the late 1960s, technically there was no IT without the Internet. But there might as well have been no Internet before 1992 or so.

It depends on where you are. In the northern US, natural gas is a common fuel for heating and cooking, and is delivered as a public utility to most cities and towns.

That may be sub-regional. Some places in Houston have natural gas.

You are all thinking about it the wrong way. Start with Red and then hit all the buttons in any order (reserving for purple last) as no one can see you press the others, thereby preventing policing of your button presses.

Purple button means you can't press any more buttons (phase through the button board), so it's designated as the fast getaway button.
