I was expecting trains. And you have disappointed me 😞

For train nerds of the Sheldon Cooper type (raises hands) this is how trains really work, for science:

You should watch his video on how to build a lab for testing. Basically, you should avoid virtualisation because you'd need $10k for a SAN and instead should buy half a dozen laptops from flea markets and use those. Erm...interesting idea.

Yeah some of his videos make no sense of all. He does have some good content from time to time but sometimes it can be a little puffy.

    SW advertises with him.

I had been watching his commentary before it was cool 🙂

It really is amazing how true this really is.

IT: doing other people's work for them without the benefits of training or experience.

What's sad is that so often other fields get trained so that IT people without that training only have to hold their hands once in a while.

Oh man. We need to carefully pass these around ML so that we can all play. I'll get NTG to pass them around then send to ML.

@garak0410 feel free to send to surface pro to me. I will get use out of it since mine hasn't been approved yet.

Well, mine is work issued so we would either return or pass down...and just arrived. I am sure I'll use it a lot. Funny, all the talk about the fan and how it wont really fire up unless you are doing desktop graphic intensive stuff...fan is quite audible and all I am doing is getting the firmware update that was pushed out yesterday.

I've not done anything but pair the pen (yet it won't write...might be in firmware) and download updates. The size is nice and screen is vibrant. Will give it a good try after updates.
