I posted this on SW too since I know that Mitel and PBX people who support Mitel are much more common over there.

I received the following response from Eric from Mitel

The top items (P0000, P0001) are what we call extension lists. Extension list are the way you group extensions together. For example if you wanted to have an all ring hunt group, you would build an extension list and place that in the hunt group to ring all the phones at the same time. The lower item (2105) is your hunt groups. This is where you would create the ringing destinations and call types. You can always press F1 for help when looking at the database programming and it will assist you with the screen you are looking at.

I've noticed a bunch of weird things on ML. No slight intended against the staff, just the code that back-ends it is occasionally flaky. It doesn't bother me enough to do something about it, just my $0.02 and sympathy for your plight.

Didn't get a chance to talk to them about this... the interview was a bit scripted but I was able to get some good information out of it. If I get a followup interview I will ask about it.

It's been interesting using ScreenConnect. There are so many similarities to other types.

I found that SC does not work on a Chromebook. They have their own Chrome Remote software. which isn't difficult to use.

I would recommend it to anyone. Cost is an issue for me to use personally.

Crashplan and Amazon Cloud are two different types of services Crashplan is for backups and archives not for immediate access. Cloud storage would be for immediate access only.

True, true. Sadly, some of us are just broke college employees, lol. I have plenty of local storage at home (3TB in 'server', another 3TB for local Crashplan, and also Crashplan in the cloud)... I'm covered. 8-)

Do you need to keep those ISOs local to you? If not, you could store them in ODfB or Google Drive, etc and then copy them through a webbrowser at those hosted solutions upload speed, regardless of where you are.

I could. That would require me to get (and stay) more organized.

    Alternative to moderation:
Single posts allowed in the Jobs Posting, but then a discussion thread can be created that is linked back to the OP for 'bantering'. Keeping the Jobs Posting limited to single messages only.

So then the downside there, of course, is that things that are super common like "What is the location?", "What is the payscale?", "What is the actual job?" would be lost. Is that something that we want? That most potential posters would want? Maybe, maybe not.

No - you are quite correct. Those questions should be with the OP, there is no logical reason why those details should be separated from the OP.

But is that not why we are having a discussion about it?

If you're looking for something small, the Backbeat FIT by Plantronics is awesome. If you want over the year, the Backbeat Pro is awesome! Don't get the Backbeat GO 2. They are horrible...

I have the Backbeat Pro - don't like it. Battery life is retarded and none of the rubber ear cups fit, which means they fall out of my ears all the time.

@JaredBusch - as for dealing with listening to music in only one ear; It's a trade off. I get to listen to music or talk on the phone, and ignore,.. err I mean still hear the person across the room.

Just to confirm, we're talking about these, right?

    http://www.plantronics.com/us/product/backbeat-pro

I think you might be thinking of the Backbeat GO 2.

    Backbeat Go - Sorry

Yeah, those are horrible. Never use those.

I was wondering if this was going to be good enough considering Scott's recommendation? As long as I don't recreate a route between the VLANs I guess it should be.

Right, you would want to keep them as gapped as possible.

@DenisKelley Yeah I feel completely comfortable that the default VMWare upgrade would work, but it wouldn't update the drivers. Assuming the old drivers already in place are compatible, they would just stay in place.
