Despite being sick having a relatively good day. Perhaps it was the morning redbull that did it.

RE: Sodium Helpdesk: Change Location of Ticket Name
This is definitely an improvement. I've already made the change but it'll likely come out with a release later tonight at some point. (Too small a change for it's own release)

'Significant' Roman silver hoard found in Fife by teenager
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-edinburgh-east-fife-40778533Nice! Lucky kid.
Except the museum people come and take it away with no payment to the kid. That's bullshit. If I found a bunch of Roman silver, I'd be selling it, not donating it.
Seriously? He gets nothing for the find/donating it? Pfft bs. Yeah I'm with you, time to find a private collector or something.

RE: Sodium Helpdesk Feature Request: Allow Edit Users + System Default User
@nashbrydges said in Sodium Helpdesk Feature Request: Allow Edit Users + System Default User:
Right now the only edit that is allowed for existing users are to change Group, Reset Password or Delete. Also need the ability to change login name (without having to create a brand new user), change user email address and change First Name or Last Name. Any of those changes should also allow the user account to remain "attached" to any tickets, comments, updates, either currently open or historical.
Also, if a user is deleted, all existing or past tickets, comments, attachments, etc, should automatically be assigned to a "system" user to allow for searching and filtering, reassignment if necessary. Deleting a user should not create any orphan records that cannot be searched or reported on.
I have released an update that is going to allow you to update all of these facets of a user and also upon deletion of a user tickets will be reassigned to a static user named "Removed User" which you can filter based on. From there you can reassign the ticket to anyone else you want. Once the release is rolled out I'll check on prod to make sure it works and update the thread!

This has been resolved and now looks as it should:
I kind of miss the old way now where the attachment was a surprise. This way I could troll another person in the ticket system.
But I suppose practicality dictates the current way.
So is it an internal only ticket system or something the end customers log in to as well?
We do have plans in the works for client portal so that end customers will be able to see external facing notes etc. Not sure when that is going to happen yet but it is a priority, absolutely.

I really wish we had some furniture, like even a bean bag. I might play a video game, but I have nowhere comfy to sit.
I have a $2000 chair... it's used,.. abused and such.. - it's not the greatest. But maybe it's due to sitting here so much / long.
Granted I got it free when my Brother-in-law's office closed...
duh - the point... it's not a comfortable chair..I have a broken office chair that sinks over the course of fifteen minutes. It's a bit annoying.
that was my last chair that I had. Now I have a $100 walmart chair that is meh but at least it doesn't sink.

RE: Sodium: Page versus panel scroll
I actually noticed that. I believe this happened when I updated some formatting to display ip addresses more accurately. Definitely on my fix list :).

$124,406why 406?
Because 405 would be too little. Artificial intelligence works these things out.
Far be it from me to question the great and powerful AI. 406 makes perfect sense now!
lmao One of the best movies of all time. Three shall be the number thou shall count and the number of thou counting shall be three!

That's correct. We encrypt on both authentication and on payload. We should make an FAQ page about that. Another item for the task list
So many things to do, so little time.
Yeah, the task list is just getting longer and longer.
Speaking of which, have you been watching your burn down list grow? haha
But let's face it, my list of work is ALWAYS massive. (which is a good thing)

@quixoticjeremy classic, I've not seen it in many a year. Used to watch it so much, but now it's easily been twenty years. Can't really remember the last time that I watched it.
I remember watching this probably about 5 years ago when I was out in Colorado. Sitting there with no friends because I had just moved there, with beer in hand.

The next piece (not for tonight) that will tie into that will be the ability to look at an asset and see all tickets that have been associated with it.
This will likely happen tonight I think. Won't be too hard.

Yep. Just finished up. There was a bug that was causing the job to fail on certain situations being met. The bug has been resolved though and we shouldn't see that issue in the future.

Idk if I'm going to pre-order it tbh. It's a collectors thing and I'm not much of a collector. I just use emulators for everything.
Yeah, same. It's a neat idea but who actually cares. Just more junk to get lost around the house.
Exactly. I barely keep consoles to begin with. I have a select few when random friends show up but other than that they get used as netflix boxes. Any game I once upon a time did was all pc related.

I have completed working on this for now. Moving forward if there is a delay in check in and your machine is on, treat like a bug and contact me.
Looking good here.
Perfect, server just went down briefly for another very small release (idiotic me forgot to move the logging level back down so I was getting spammed with information I don't need as I monitor the server (yes this needs to be changable but atm is hardcoded)).

It's complaining about broken dependencies. I saw that XS is on a newer version of python now, so once everything gets updated tonight it might "just work". Might have to wait till the morning tho... well, later on in this morning, after I sleep a bit.
Fair enough well keep us posted. Knowing how things go, it's likely not going to just "work". Let me know if there's anything I can do to help!
