The entire reason it came back up is that the unit rebooted itself (crashed) at 1300 CDT yesterday.

Post to be updated with setting up SSL.

sudo yum install python-certbot-apache sudo certbot --apache

Accept defaults in certbot, and I forget the update options off the top of my head.

Just FYI for anyone finding this thread. The above does not work because there is not a vhost file.

      Call certbot like this.

certbot --apache --email [email protected] --domain nexcloud.domain.com --agree-tos --non-interactive

I would assume that the way the %attr works based on reading it is that all files in the listed folder get the listed permissions.

@IRJ said in Google renames Google Apps to G Suite:

The name change makes sense, but the name G Suite is just terrible. I can understand Google not wanting people to confuse Google Apps with Android type Apps. Because they really aren't just apps they are an office suite.

Even Google Suite would have been better. Or just Google Office (unless that is trademarked).

The irony is that I am sure they spent thousands testing the performance of this name change. It makes you wonder what the other options were...

Probably a sickening amount was tested on focus groups. They must have only focus tested on the hip millennials who think saying Google is too much work. I'm sure they are now saying G it instead of Google it.

@travisdh1 said in Windows 10 Update 1607 seems to be removing .Net 3.5:

@JaredBusch So how the [self-moderated] do certain, previously named, companies make things that require very specific not-quite-upgraded versions of certain components of .net? I mean, they target specific versions of files that are a part of .net. When I go bald, at least I'll know why!

Because they do not want to spend the money to recompile for newer versions in order to maintain a stupid high level of compatibility with people using old shit.

You think they're actually bothering to use the tool you posted? Nope. They're checking the filenames on the system. I forget exactly which files they do this for, but it's super annoying because it didn't match with the latest updates or original version last time I had to install the P.O.S.

Does it block it in the thread, too?

That's weird, though. They just blanket block images with the size in the description? That will randomly break who knows what.

And those who are blocking ads just by size generally know that as well and will unblock things as needed.

How do they know when something is needed?

I block all that stuff by default with ublock - if a site shows up funny or seems like i'm missing a key part of it - i unblock stuff on ublock. Would I install ublock for our average end user - no - they don't seem to understand it. Ad block plus seems to be a bit friendlier to the average user.

Does it work from a computer on the same network at the server?

Looking to see if it's an ZT problem or a Server problem.

Same error over normal IP also once I brought up my IPSEC tunnel

OK but you still haven't tried from another PC on that network - i.e. no VPN.

Does not matter. No one connect on network. Also two differnt IP protocols do not work. Issue is not whatever the hell you are driving at.

      two different IP protocols? 😉

      /sigh... IP subnets.

I'll add another note for future reference here.

For Fedora 39 Server, apcupsd has another package apcupsd-cgi that can be used with a web server to display UPS status. However, you have to move the files it installs by default because they're not in the /var/www/cgi-bin directory.

sudo dnf install -y apcupsd apcupsd-cgi httpd
      sudo mv /var/www/apcupsd /var/www/cgi-bin/
      sudo chown apache:apache /var/www/cgi-bin/apcupsd/*
      sudo systemctl enable --now httpd

Should get it up and running.
I found 3 useful tools with it.
      http://YOURIP/cgi-bin/apcupsd/uspstats.cgi
      http://YOURIP/cgi-bin/apcupsd/multimon.cgi
      http://YOURIP/cgi-bin/apcupsd/upsfstats.cgi
