@JaredBusch We will be using a fix number size and auto increment with a prefix in the front e.g. WYN000001 - WYN000002 - WYN000052 etc
We will most probably go out and buy the labels in bulk instead of printing in house.

Internet: Old TV caused village broadband outages for 18 months
The mystery of why an entire village lost its broadband every morning at 7am was solved when engineers discovered an old television was to blame.

An unnamed householder in Aberhosan, Powys, was unaware the old set would emit a signal which would interfere with the entire village's broadband.

After 18 months engineers began an investigation after a cable replacement programme failed to fix the issue.

I LOVE heavy stuff. But on the same vein later I could be listening to the Wicked sound track or Adele. I am a musician so just love music,

Not a musician but do like a VERY large range of music, I have been know to "Cut Some Shapes" to happy hard-core in the past 😄 But Rock and Metal is my stress release and anger management play list lol

It must be that I am using Firefox. Every single time I double click the computer via the Web interface it wants to download a tiny exe that I have to save then run. After that it loads the connection.

You are doing it wrong somewhere.

When I was on Firefox and Windows 10 I had the same issue. It would download an executable every time, and display a .NET error telling me to install something that would not install and because the installation would fail it would need the EXE file each time.

It's some combination of things. If I switched browsers or OSes, it just worked. It was just that combination, I think.

Windows 10 and Edge seem to work fine, don't really use firefox.

This might be worth looking at.

Seems maybe the DC port is not part of the motherboard.

I thought SSD's would eliminate the need for RAID. But I'm still on the fence about this.

What is going on over there?

Someone on SW is "on the fence" as to whether or not backups are still needed? Dear Lord!

Careful posting on here about SW they might get offended like my post lol.

So I've tried this and basically you run the collector as normal then request the report through the portal instead of E-mailing the results to Dell.
Not had a phone call yet trying to sell me a SAN 😄

We could ask in another way, given that they chose a VPN to connect the offices, why is there RDP? What is the VPN not handling well that as made them feel the need to have redundant connection technologies back to the main office?

line speed at each office is slow ( less then 10Mbps ) . Rdp ( remote desktop ) solutions is used to compress the data and make the application work at the branch offices. without the rdp the apps run too slow at think client.
is that what you are asking ? everything is hosted at the main office

Think what they are both trying to say is you don't need the VPN link to use RDP to the HO location. Open up the ports on the Firewall and allow access through the internet connection.

The VPN link is not required for what you are using i.e. RDP
