Create him two accounts, one for normal use, then a second with administrative rights. You should do the same thing for you and not use the built in account.

I really need to start doing this!!!

I'm not really sure why they went this direction. There are a few other things that are making me shake my head and several red flags were raised during our initial meeting. We won't be back for a couple of weeks but I think that a large budget and a lack of understanding lead to their current infrastructure.

More than likely asked a "expert" and mentioned HA. sales men (i mean experts) seem to like SAN's!!!! no idea why ($$$$$)

      Don't!
Unless you have enough people/companies ready to pay you to host their sites.

My honest opinion - Market is too full of places already in place that will be cheaper and better than you 🙂

So in the process of uploaded the "Master Gold" image for the Windows 7 POS machines. If that works onto a Windows 10 Image 😄

Oh and about to go investigate why one of our Unifi AP's is showing as isolated.

The difference is that DRBD does not do scale out, you need Starwind for that. But for two node mirrored replication, it's unbeatable. It's the same technology we use for storage clustering on all Linux systems.

Yeah I think we are never going to go over 2 hosts for the Citrix farm. So that will do. 🙂 Thx again Scott.

2608 pages? That's gotta crash at least twice right? 😉

To get it to print I've had to create 4 separate documents with 650odd mail merged addresses in first then sent them one at a time (documents not pages lol) 🙂 all good so far, just about to print the last document.

@DustinB3403 said in VM from ESXi to Xenserver:

This isn't a XenServer issue, but an issue with the CentOS and being exported from ESXi.

Try re-exporting the VM and importing it again.

Will try that before I go home now 🙂

    • RE: Shrinking and Extending Disks

I've never done it, but the theory is :-

Decrease the size of 😄 within windows. Shut down VM
      Then in the settings
      decrease Hard Drive 1
      increase Hard Drive 2

Start back up and use expand in windows 🙂

AS I SAID THEORY 😄 I've never done this myself lol.

Needs to be, that post was ridiculous.

What does "running an enterprise database from USB drive" or "running a database off of FTP" even mean? I mean... WTF!!!

Don't you know Scott this is the new "industry standard" for running mulit $$$$$ companies on. Means if the server fails you can drive home and plug it into your home PC and continue running the company 😛

    • Backup Game Data Android - Kids Tablet

So for my 9yr old birthday I bought her a new ASUS PAD 10 android tablet as her "old" one the touch screen started to go. Got it all set up and running and she happily started to download games onto it. One game she likes is "Dragon City" on her old pad she was level 25 but of course on the new pad it's started a fresh.

Is there a good app/method to get game data from one device to another. Remember she is 9 so there is no Facebook to login with. I need to "transfer" the save data on the pad (if possible)
