Just think back to the interview scene from SwordFish. If it works for Hugh Jackman.

RE: Projectors
That Panasonic
"Brightness of 2,000 ANSI lumens"
What mug would spend 28K for that?
-
RE: Projectors
Sorry I had to.
40K of Ansi Lumens at 4K resolution.
Buy 2, stack them together, you now have 80K of projected light.

Long story short, I'm emailing the MSP and my Boss this morning to get more information on what needs to be done, and haven't heard back, that was about 30 minutes ago.
If they are anyway decent Provider, they should be prompting the Boss every 4 hours at least, they should be offering to ship a new drive to site to take a working backup.

RE: Enterprise 2 Drive USB Storage Devices
Use Caldigit.
Lucie used to make good units, but they've cut the quality hugely.
Seen these in use at many a place and got 2 of the mini ones myself.
Very reliable, maintain their performance for years.

RE: Is Best Buy the single worst-run company in the history of the world?
You saved almost 600$, the money you didn't pay them goes towards the unskilled techs and incompetent managers.

Not sure what you mean.
When you register an account, apparently you can type whatever email address you want and the account is created, no email verification.

RE: Wifi as WAN

My comment was more in regards to broadcasting to the world that I was in a moving vehicle and posting.
We would never assume such a thing of you.
I'm sure you were pulled over or just about to begin motion of said vehicle.

So double click test says....
There is a password stopping me from reading/extracting the file.
But I can see the "newsecretdoc.txt" file - Just can't read it yet.
Does the unencryption software have any problem getting started on it?
Not started it yet, merrily working away on other things.

Side note: posting screenshots with "return to navigation" is probably a bad idea.
Just wait until Apple change it so it says "Navigating to, X address." for now we are safe
