        How is this an issue? Heck, ask him to fully commit to Google - you could go all the way to Google Docs - or you could simply use Google Drive with the Google Drive add-in for Office.

        Sure, Quickbooks can't work with that, but hopefully that is a smaller group to worry about.

                          So they refuse to use anything Microsoft, except for their biggest product? Weird.. Anyway, I don't know if it's possible on a Mac, but can you mount the folders via ssh?

                            If you have to map a drive, then Group Policy is the way to go.

                            Edit: removed incorrect info. Source article had a very misleading title

                              You could also schedule a task to run your drive mapping script.

                                As with any system, you should always swing back around and re-visit issues.

                                With the help of the group here, and other resources i hope to go over the GPP and see what I can clean up and improve.
