Now I am being kept completely out of the loop on any issue/Resolution with this site.
my boss and coworker are having a meeting about it, but they have taken the conversation else where. Are you still working at that Diner Point of Sales hell hole company or have you found other employment and just landed a shitty job?
Still at the Point of Sales job.
So when do you pour a gallon of gasoline on the desk, light it on fire and walk away?
I'm guessing relatively shortly, I'm calling a few places I've put applications in to to check on the status.
You need to be on that very, very actively. Not just because of this incident, it's just time to keep your career in motion. I know it's hard, but treat job hunting as a nearly full time job, too.

The Network team is adding another AP to the Site....
And they're moving all iPads to 5ghz Radio on the WIFI ..
and They're moving the AP .
And they might replace one or two with a much more powerful AP ...All of this was told to me by my boss after he had his meeting this morning , and he looked me dead in the eye and said "does that make sense?"

Tomorrow's follow-up "Resume critique"...
I'd fire you for talking to me like

can I finish what I was saying so I can help you?
Just because something may be supported, doesn't imply that it is support.

Make what worse? I'm assuming he is in an at-will employement state. So honestly, if they want him gone he's gone. This matters not. It is also the appropriate answer to the question. Because it is the truth.

I just meant that the additional APs and higher power on the APs might exacerbate the networking issues.

This is definitely my thinking...

Unrealted to the thread, but I just got a call from one of this guys locations due to this being my oncall week.
So I called my vendor, and told them what was going on, and they are going to call the site directly to help them with a resolution. . .
Sucks that I can't do my job during my on call, but this issue was out of my scope of understanding anyway. -

Of course. That is why I said it was the perfect answer. Your make it worse read to me that his response to his boss would make it worse.

So update on this:
We ended up "Hard wiring" the "socket Server" iPad, and setting all Ipads to Static IPs resolved this issue, there are other issues but not with the connectivity. . -

I suppose I could be dreaming too..

I know there's an issue with IOS v14.x.x and "Private Addresses" causing connection issues.. not sure if it has anything to do with Unifi APs. .

You don't handle the network - doesn't sound like you have a choice.
