@black3dynamite So, is the MCU Infinity War going to happen without FF Xmen and Silver Surfer? it must since none of them have been in the stories leading up to this. As someone who has every issue of Infinity Gauntlet, War, Crusade series comics this is troubling.
Correct, due to some funkyness with how Marvel did their film licenses the MCU can't contain any of those, it's also why Marvel comics are moving away from the X-Men.

Well, Disney just barely acquired Fox film and tv. Plus the movie is already jammed with a lot of characters anyway.

What do you mean by this? Xmen is the best comic book series of all time without question.

So the way I grok it was that Marvel sold the film rights for X-men (and characters created in X-Men comics) to 21st Century Fox around the time of the original X-Men movies. When Marvel got fed up with that shit show and started making the MCU they stopped introducing characters in the X-Men comics and moved them to the Inhumans. This way they would retain movie/film rights. They slowed down publishing those comics as well.
I'm sure with the recent Disney acquisition of 21st Century Fox makes all of that history void but it was one of the reasons they hadn't used the word "mutant" in the MCU even though they play a massive role in all the story lines up until this point in the comics.

Haven't had a free moment to watch anything in days.

Finished season 2 of Jessica Jones, started the new season of Santa Clarita Diet. Also been keeping up with new episodes of the Joel McHale show starring Joel Mchale. It's the same format as the Soup and it's excellent.

This just in: Steven Spielberg is scared of Netflix movies winning Oscars instead of him... I guess he has to whine about something to stay relevant.

Stay relevant? Since when is Spielberg relevant? Jaws was about the last interesting thing he did. He's movies blow.

Schinder's List was quite good. I forget that that was him, because his movies are so consistently blah.
