I tried another browser with no extensions, and it worked. It isn't bad aside from the insane amount of ads. If you look past that aspect, it's actually a pretty nifty service. I wish I had thought of it. Though, I'd have done half the ads and would give an option to pay for no ads + 24/7 server uptime.

Happy new year!
Close enough to midnight -
Staring at my hobbled ProxMox host because GPU shenanigans. I'm pretty sure if I just remove the GPU, I can access it remotely again. But it's MY HOST and I WANT A WORKING DISPLAY OUTPUT. ..... Cuz I have nothing else I can do with this old 17" Dell LCD from 2003 lol

@GUIn00b fun times, I have replacement parts arriving to rebuild a XCP-ng host that has a bad NVMe.
Have to plan a site visit to install them and reinstall the host OS and get it going again and have a laptop to get prepared for an employee pretty soon.

About to head out to a gig! We're playing a venue that is new to us (and relatively new in general). Stoked to play in front of some new faces! If we kill it, we'll be on the short list to open for national touring bands.
https://sonicspeculum.bandcamp.com if you want to hear what we do.

Proxmox build and service migration day.
Rebuilt the Proxmox install and getting the ubnt controller moved over finally. This host is a bit more than the last - but not where I may go with this - getting close to time to replace the NAS. So, why not put it all into one box that is more up to date than the four computers that are 8-12 years old already..
Fun times ahead.

It was an amazing night, all the other bands were excellent, we tore it up - using only half of our usual wall of amps! All faces were melted, and I know we will be doing more shows with the promoter now that he's seen us in action!

Latitude E5430
Expired 29 MAR 2014I think I have turned this computer off for the last time. Has been running Ubuntu Server (because: Reasons) for a while with the Unifi controller. With Prox running it now, I don't think it needs to run any longer..
Seems the battery is still good too.. but - it's retired.. we thank you for your service..

Working on some SOC 2 collections, while waiting for some warranty coverage on my car to be completed.

Contemplating how to leverage 2 ISP's for supplemental bandwidth when needed using 2 separate routers that are both servicing the same LAN.
......So I'm gonna go post a new topic!

Get a DUAL Wan capable firewall, set it up either as Active/Active or Active/Backup.
You'll be banging your head sorting out getting a fault tolerant static IP address, though it can be done.

BGP..... that could be a whole series of topics itself.

Getting 2 ISPs to play together is the easiest part, they don't even need to know. With BGP, it's finding someone to route the public connection. At work, we own routers we do the public routing end of the BGP if you purchase an internet connection through us. It works really well, plug as many of any type of internet connection into our SD-WAN box and the BGP routing makes the next hop our head-end routers.

Saw the post. It's not a fun thing. What I did when I had this was I just separated things by machine. Some machines used one connection and some the other based on their workloads. It was "static" but let me use both.
