CHilling at the hotel today. Guests came by and wanted to drink. So we drank all morning. Feeling pretty tired now!
Most hotel operators don't drink all day with their guests...

Just moved over from Ubuntu to Debian 11 with KDE Plasma. Loving it so far.

When Fedora 35 releases, I'll be giving KDE plasma another shot.

PopOS is where it’s at

This is a PSA for Google and its algorithms.... I have zero, absolutely no, interest in Curiosity Stream. The more you show me how ancient aliens built pyramids the less I want anything to do with this service. There is no chance that I will subscribe. I've told Google over and over I'm not interested in these ads. I've gone from mildly curious to no interest to absolutely loathing Curiosity Stream and think that it looks like a complete and utter joke and every time I see Google promote it it reminds me of just how little value paid ads are on Google platforms because Google has zero algorithm to detect what people might actually buy.

I don't like it as much as Ubuntu. Less intuitive and efficient interface, not as good hardware compatibility. It's nice, but not Ubuntu or Fedora nice.

I've had good success with Gnome 40, but I want to give KDE fair shake, and I figure new Fedora release is the right time.

I like PopOS, but I always find myself wanting to come home to Fedora.

yeah, it's not bad, it just doesn't feel as polished. It's very focused on people who only do one single task and that's great, but that's for my wife, not me.

Vendor pushed a software update to one of my customers last night. Got an email this morning that it failed and they needed me to finish it manually.
10 minutes later, site is up and running - and I haven't even finished my first cup of coffee yet. -
Horrible day at the office- my manager and I have so little to do , that we have sat here and talked about how little we have to do - after I asked him if there was anything that needed to be worked on and if there was anyway I could get extra hours cause I'm not making very much on a straight 80 pay period.. needless to say I'm extremely bored.

There's always something that needs to be turned into a script.
