Babysitting the new site , Round 2 started 40 minutes ago when the second shift showed up.
I'm beyond bored. That's not terrible problem to have in IT every now and again. My day was exactly the opposite. Ugh.
Somehow two new load balancers we were configuring turned into a routing loop and brought down almost our whole network.... Got that fixed, and then )&#$)&@ VMswear View took frickin' forever to come back up after rebooting all the things.

I'm not complaining, well maybe a little, but that sounds horrible.

Make a BAT file and on the RDS server make a local GPO using GPedit.msc
Go to user configuration -> windows -> script logoff/logon and add the path of where you saved the .bat file
Contents of the BAT...
rd /s c:\$Recycle.Bin /Q

I've switched to Edge, I'm tired of Google Chrome's nagging popup "Use passwords saved in your google account" of which there are none, zero

And the fact that I can't login to VLSC with Chrome without deleting the world is just insane..

Totally. More than once. And it was just 1 of the VMs that wouldn't start. At one point, changing the name let it start, but I have no idea why.

Just had some eggs and potatoes for breakfast.

Trying to make an "adaptor" for my microscope to mount on a monitor armI looked at FreeCad, but I am starting with TinkerCad for now. So far have had pretty decent luck with getting 3-D printed projects going.

I like TinkerCad because I can create my widget at home, then login to my account at one of the local Maker Spaces around here to print the widget.
