Migrating music and movies to a new NAS. Frustrated to see the desktop.ini and ds.store files being copied as well.
IE: I shouldn't have used Windows.

Woke up early, getting ready for another day of onboarding training.

@jmoore I had some left over vindaloo.
Ooh I am a big fan of that too but I have never cooked that.
I'm not the biggest fan. Too much tomato for my old stomach.

Just finished migrating my UBNT WiFi controller from one computer to a rPi on DietPi - I had tried the 64b version of DietPi,.. but found that it didnt' work. so dropped back to the 32b version.
New AP arrives tomorrow and I retire the LTS models
And - just like that, the new AP is adopted and running. it's really nice to have the UBNT controller - and not having to configure devices over and over again.

Fun - times.
What NAS did you run with? I am not looking to replace mine yet - even thought it is EOL (ReadyNAS 314 running RAID10), just looking at options for down the road.
-
@gjacobse I have 2 ReadyNAS 2120 and they are EOL also. I just set up a Fedora 32 minimal with an NFS share and 4 - 8Tb drives in a raid 10. Working great so far. I had all the spare parts.

No Redmi here. Don't know them at all. Huawei should be amazing, but no Google Apps on it, which can be a negative. but for a camera, you can't beat it, and a great vendor. OnePlus looks really good. And Xiami.

if there was a Google Maps alternative that was worthwhile (and there might be I've never looked), I might consider that.. only thing I use with any regularity on my phone.

That's generally considered to be the hardest one to replace. Although, Google Maps is pretty horrible in his country. So it's not the competition that you might think that it is.

Yeah, that makes it really hard. And Google likes to add bridges that don't exist. Both SJS and Matagalpa have bridges on the maps that there isn't a hint of ever existing in real life.
