Fun times trying to add a node in Failover Cluster Manager.

I get the benefit/value of having an all in one internet enabled PoS system, food trucks, carts etc all make perfect sense to need this. But why does it need an AP?
iPads come with the option of Cellular data, why complicate it further by needing separate internet provided over dedicated WiFi?
I just asked the guy who is our "Product Specialist" on the subject and he said " an Added Layer of Protection to keep it away from regular wifi .
and that came from the Provider.
And you asked... what makes dlink not regular WiFi?

because it is so bad?

Is there special WiFi or regular WiFi. Gosh did I not buy the Special WiFi equipment. . .
....
"regular Wifi" was used in the sense of Business wifi that's open to everything, the AP is supposed to add a layer of protection to the POS system (ipads) so it's more or less " Segregated " from the other devices on the wifi on the other side of the ap, which also "keeps the printers on the same network as the Tablet"is how it was explained to me
Uh, VLAN anyone?

Aren't you on vacation?
Why jumping in late to the conversation?>
I already explained this as it was told to me yesterday . -

And I asked what;s the point in dlink ap - And he said to add security and put the IPad and Printers on the same network., This is what he was told to do to stay "PCI Compliant" - It's not my project, he took this one by the horns and jumped right in.

30 years in IT and I'm excited that my new $13 keyboard arrives today.

Ah, the joys of Microsoft “Premier” support.

My only "fancy" keyboard was won in a contest on SW.

This is the "Amazon Basics" keyboard. But I love their $6 mice so figured I'd try the keyboard as mine is old and getting "sticky".
-
@scottalanmiller I can highly recommend the Razr gaming kb that I won... If you really want to spend $100. Otherwise I deploy the cheapest ones I can get from Fry's (just down the street from the office).
-
Trying a new taco/tapas/tequila place for lunch. Salsa is excellent, tacos on the way. Gotta fuel up for working late (office 365 deployment begins at 6pm).

I've only purchased their USB extension cables. At work, we have a few of their Amazon Basics plates.

Mostly because I can type all day long and not cause issues with pain in my wrists. I might be able to care less about the lighting thing, but it would be difficult.

I’ve been using the Microsoft natural keyboard for so long, outside of using a laptop, it would take me a while to get used to a non-curved keyboard again.

The curved thing doesn't bother me nearly so much as mushy membrane keyboards. I feel it in the evenings if I'm using one of those too long in a day. Probably also have joint issues, but that's a whole other thing.

I’ve never used a mechanical keyboard. The one you link is the first I’ve seen that’s reasonably priced.
