Friend of mine told me to never stop looking for a new job, There is always something better out there.
We've ALL been telling you that. You should be making that resume as polished as possible and use that free time to shoot it out places (and learn new skills, and post on ML, etc.)
This was years before I even started with this site, However. you are right.

It's becoming ever so clear that I really dont fit in with IT because my personality is like off the wall hyper/crazy 85% of the time where I just want to run and play and be goofy and loud like a little kid especially when im in a good mood or a horrible mood ( either way)
I owe my coworkers everyday because Im in such a great mood and dealing with people is great and they hate that I wont just be like them and play on my phone or on my computer.
Im just mostly always in a good mood and ready to go.
IDK.
Weird right?Nope, just get out (of the office) more
Just because you're surrounded by sad sackery and negetrons, doesn't mean you don't belong in the industry. Thanks, I like that.
I just need to move around, and im not introverted like alot of these guys. _ we all went for drinks once, and these guys were more extroverted than I was (Im already pretty extroverted - keep in mind we were drinking , Id say heavily)Not much of IT is actually introverted. that's a big stereotype that doesn't hold up. Most of IT deals with customers constantly, you generally want to be extroverted or IT really takes a toll on you.
These guys here seem more introverted than extroverted. - No where in that did I say anything about IT being introverts.
I dont see where you are getting that I was saying that about IT - Im talking from experience here. -

Sometimes we're just in the zone. When we have something going on and there's numbers and setups in our heads, I for one, don't want to be bothered. My 2 cents
Fair enough, We sit and play on our cell phones most of the day waiting for calls to come in.
If that gives perspectiveThat makes them bench techs - not IT.
You're desire to learn more and push your education, makes you more IT.
Don't let them slow you down.
No, that makes them reactive, not bench techs. They might be bench techs, but not because of being reactive.
Fair enough... but I think we can tell that they pretty much are bench techs with maybe 10% IT tossed in from time to time.

Probably, but that's from other descriptions that he has given, not related to this one of being board and reactive.

'Bored' and 'Board' are hononyms that sound alike but have different spellings and meanings. They are also are different parts of speech. 'Bored' is an adjective that describes someone being extremely uninterested in what they are doing. 'Board' can be a noun referring to a cut piece of wood.

So here is an interesting video to watch. Bruce Pilato being interviewed on WROC television today. This is the first mentor that I had in business. I used to be the only other employee, other than Bruce, in his company. This was my first exposure to running a business, and to small business and entrepreneurship. This is around 1997-1998 in my pre-NTG era.

I'm guessing everyone else is out getting all mushy last night. It was a boring Friday night for me.

Note: I had setup MS SQL on CentOS 7 a while ago for my own purposes to help write a migration script for another client. This one will be part of a product. MS SQL was the design requirement handed down. I just made it better buy ignoring all the stupid licensing issues.

Just fed the kids.

We are hoping to be doing that this week, too.

@JaredBusch Might be worth giving it a try any tips
