Just wrote my own playbook to set up a LAMP server on Debian ... and it was easy. Even easier to me than using SaltStack.
Yes, always seemed easier to me, as well.

So I totally forgot that I had jury duty this morning. Got lucky and didn't have to show up. Pheww.
Man, around here, the judges are serious about that stuff. The court trial I went in for had almost 100 no shows for the summons. The judge sic'd the sheriff on them.
I'm sure that they are here, too. But they had canceled it so I'm safe.

You can get started faster since you don't have to worry about needing to install an agent first.

SaltStack doesn't require an agent either, it just makes things more robust and flexible.

I am snowed in so I tried to take my dog out to pee, and the snow fell into the house and my dog is toooo weenie to be in the cold so i had to carry him to a nice spot to pee. Then i went back in and had to clean up the melting snow.

Yeah. Now that AWX (open sourced version of Tower) is available, I'm going to be trying them both out. Keep hearing good things about it.
