Had customer call in about seeing guest checks from previous days/weeks for error/needing to print it out for customer etc, and They didnt have access.
Emailed his boss at corporate - and they opened a call last week that was marked as finished and taken care of by another colleague of mine.
well... This is awkward -
Finish up my end and get it all kosher... Talk to my colleague about it and he says " I must have been rushing through it and not paying attention.."
Im not the boss but come on man...

Just got off a 45 minute support call. The license for some software on one server went crazy today after a windows update broke it. Snapshot restore didn't fix it.
Also learned I should probably set the backup job to not start if it was missed. The system rebooted and made a new backup after I had restored it to a previous snapshot... and this being Windows Server backup to a network share, it ate my only backup, lol.
Fortunately the vendor was able to get me going again.
Edit: Now working on coffee!
