boys are playing LEGOs - though they can't seem to find their LEGO guy. Of course it looks like the LEGO factory blew up in the house. We have a baseball game in a few hours. The sun is actually shining today. The yard is still soaking wet, but maybe it' will drain and dry enough to mow tomorrow. Otherwise I'll have to find me some goats.
Waiting to hear how things went on another issue. hoping well.
I don't know if I'll get time to get into my OpenNMS build today. But happy with it so far... except it's not doing anything. But it's running.
rain rain down here today....i'm stuck between a hotel room and two clients though, so rain doesn't matter much. Going from Citrix UPM to M$ Roaming/folder redirection, migrating data, joining 60 workstations to a new domain, playing with GP, waiting on downloads. etc. i'd love to be cutting grass

Deciding on how to respond to the offer for the house. Looks like I'm going to have to pay to get out. But f[moderated] I need out..
Going out to cut the grass now and not think.

Morning all - Trying to decide what to do next...:D
Watched Cloud Atlas was interesting... Watched some news and the last bit of Dual Survivor, but not sure why... Guess nothing really of interest in the DVR and didn't feel like starting NetFlix...
Catching up on ML, though doesn't appear that there is much going on. Guess I might check the radar to estimate when the next round of rain will be through. We are at 10.04" of rain now,.. expecting nearly an inch tomorrow into early Monday. With that, we'll be pushing really close to breaking the record of 12" for the month... really really wet year thus far.

I saw that on the flight to Ireland a month ago. Did not like it. It had potential but it reminded me of "The Matrix" - looked good and had the "feel" of a deep and meaningful film but once you actually paid attention to it you realize that the writers didn't really know what to do with the story and there was no message or coherency. If you watch it and only try to pick up the emotional queues it really looks and feels like there is some deep meaning - but dig deeper and you find it's very, very shallow. And the acting seemed... poorish.

Just added someone on LinkedIn at the EXACT same moment that they added me. Which is pretty crazy. And not someone that I was just talking to or anything like that. Totally at random. So weird.

Off to explore Cádiz with the family.

Writing a blog post

Slowly starting the day - House is empty other than myself and Milo. She's content with playing with a pipe cleaner, or the fluff ball. Cats intrigue me....
@scottalanmiller - It was difficult to follow to a degree. Now that I have watched it, it is unlikely I will be able to read the book(s). Biggest thing I pulled from it was we are all some how connected,.. in this life, a past one,... or the next...
I haven't completely decided what I will do today. There isn't enough laundry to really do just yet,.. but maybe I'll get some breakfast, go to the grocery and make some salmon or beef jerky. Pretty much all the smoked cheese I made the other week (only three small blocks) is gone...
It is raining again,.. but a nice soft rain this time.. relaxing for a change.
@scottalanmiller - hope you @Dominica and the girls enjoy your day exploring Cádiz.

I didn't think that it was too difficult to follow, just that it wasn't well written. The "connection" between people relied on them "looking alike" because they were played by the same actor and remembering a tune that was the same. It gave the feeling of being a deep story without the writers having to have come up with one.

Apparently Dell Optiplex computer are higher quality than any custom built computer. Never mind the fact that computer manufacturers don't actually make these parts.

Beating my head on this damn ERL issue again.
Thinking it is an MTU issue, but after limiting MTU, things still do not work right.
