What Are You Doing Right Now

My day yesterday was insane, trying to get caught back up, now.
-
It's Hump Day . Ready for this week to be over so I can have some time to get caught up on house stuff and other miscellaneous( drinking) things.
Hope Everyone has a good day: Day 2 of no smoking is going well; Chest doesnt hurt nearly as much as yesterday and i can feel myself actually being happier.

Watching an episode of Criminal minds on my Lunch Break- Time really stops when you are bored.
Today and yesterday, I could have watched 7 hours of Criminal Minds and nobody would have noticed, lol.
My gf processes mortgage loans, she watches TV all day and still does 3-4x as many loans as everyone else.
Maybe BECAUSE she watched TV every day.
I couldn't do that, I need silence, total silence, to work. But for a lot of people, having a moderate distraction allows them to focus more. Office environments that force silence, chatter, interruptions or whatever they enforce cater to just one niche of how any given person works, so most people lose productivity simply by not fitting into the enforced niche of whatever office environment.

I can confirm that when I have moderate distraction ; such as music, and talking with the other people in the office, I am much more productive with my time and get things done more efficently: even when I work from home every so often, I will have the TV on as back ground noise. . .

@wrcombs Whew sounds like a stressful job buddy
-
@wrcombs Nice man! Drink as much water as you can, it helps with a lot of stuff. When your body is happier it will make those cravings slightly easier to deal with. Good luck!

Not stressful really, A little boring at times, but not stressful.
The work life balance is the hardest part, because I still respond to emails at home and help other techs out when they are on call if I can.

My boss is out of the office starting in 2 weeks: which means I have been doing constant write ups on all of the things that we have issues with, so we have the steps and knowledge to get things fixed up.
today i have done 3 write ups on things that I had no idea how to fix.
and will continue to do so as time goes on for the next 2 weeks.edit and of course I'm the only one doing these write ups.

Well, we already know that you are about the only one there capable of logical thought, so not surprising.

Yeah. I do it if I have nothing better to do and want to be helpful.... but not because I have to.
