What Are You Doing Right Now

@texkonc Yes, but with Server 2012 and up you can mount ISOs on servers if needed or even on Windows 10. Is that not the case for you?

Never used VirtualClone drive before, is this the correct, and trusty link?
https://www.elby.ch/en/products/vcd.htmlI've used a few, what do you need it for?
ClondCD/CloneDVD used to be really good. Can't speak for it now as it's been a couple of Windows versions since I used it.
(never paid for it, so only used the demo)I've also used DaemonTools but I'm sure that I'd recommend that anymore. I think that there was some 3rd party crafty skulduggery hiding in it. Not 100% sure on that though.

Yes I am aware of the newer OS ability, we have a unique case.
That is all I needed to know, thanks.. -
@texkonc Gotcha, so yeah it works well even on Server 2003.

Family in Houston just started to flood. They've been okay till now. But house is flooding now. They are in one of the abandoned evacuate zones - evac is required but wasn't allowed until the area was already closed and the flood waters are so high they are in a no emergency services zone. So no evac assistance.
-
They just got a video of a fish in their kitchen swimming through.

Cute. You must evacuate, but you're not allowed to go anywhere. What is up with local governments in Texas?

Governor had told them to go but local officials told people to stay. Now it is too late and the National guard isn't allowed to go get them.

Bayou is over it's banks. Two dams have been opened to protect the city. But they empty into the bayou. So downstream is screwed.

Pretty sure that is what is sitting next to me here on the desk... decent little 2n1 thus far.

so trying to wake up after being rudely stirred from my slumber by a bunch of people screaming about a server being down... sheesh.. can't a fellow sleep in peace?

Not when the server is down.

Sleep can never exist in the same space as a server being down. They are each others arch-nemeses.

Side note, waking up, drinking coffee, gradually getting into my work for the day.
-
Cleaning my ears out with soap. HR doesn't like the SysAdmin team much right now... And they dropped an F-Bomb after they thought we'd hung up.
-
This morning started with a T1 outage, that luckily "fixed" itself in about 20 minutes. Of course, there's no way for me to have know when it first went down.
-
Tuesday at 9 AM. Server down... Screw you Tuesday.
