Bah! Vultr is still sold out of storage instances.
DigitalOcean has them also.
Not on my console they don't. I've not seen an announcement and I don't see where to buy any.

And? Vultr has that too, but it's not what we are talking about. We are talking about storage instances, not tack on storage.

What's the difference? The storage instances lock you into a specific instance. If you're building on Fedora you have to upgrade every release vs just unattach and reattach your volume.

Meeting with execs today to see if they officially say "yes, we want to lower phone system costs by 50%."
That's a sad question to have to ask.
It's more of a formality, the project was really approved a couple of months ago when we had Windstream sticker shock.
Also, I'm disappointed with my failed SAM summoning. I'll try harder next time.
-
Oh, and yes, the VoIP project can move forward.

@wirestyle22 Now I'll wait for my permaban from Mangolassi.
LOL - as long as you know it's coming
Pfft,.. you have to catch up to, and over take JB... so... good luck.
And JB will do his best to pull himself so far out front that only God could catch up with him.

Still, a formality process to "doing a good job" seems like a bad idea.

These 4-day weekends are enjoyable, but really throws off my sleeping patterns. Just got 4 hours of sleep because I couldn't go to sleep last night.

Fireworks in my neighborhood kept waking me up just as I was falling asleep. Some asshole thought it would be funny to light a whole chain of firecrackers at 1am. I'm looking forward to going home as it's leftovers (ergo, no cooking), and I can just go to bed at 9.

That could be done better than giving the SysAdmin read only access.

Right. Not just better, but read only isn't even a thing. Like, it's not even possible.

This guy knows he is in way over his head, but instead of admitting it, he just sticks to bad ideas.
