The issue with that one seems that you have bend so much - that is rough on the back. -

But if the bar is high enough, it does look like less labor. I also saw one that someone had attached to a seat with pedals and 4 wheels.

I saw that one too.. Interesting idea.. but would it really work all that well on a slope - or would you slip and go sideways?

It probably wouldn't work very well. You could just get one of these

They have ones like that at some of the lakes up north when they freeze over. They use them to "groom" the snowmobile trails.

Yea,.. but ... RoboPlow.. Rather have treads though
That has to be difficult to control.

Just took a cold walk in the rain to get groceries for the family.

I'm build a Software RAID 10 XenServer.. fun time.
Wish my brain would work with my fingers, and that my brain would just kick in.... I'm tired.

Now every city needs 20,000 of these.
I wonder what the management range is on these. Like how far can you drive them until they're out of remote range....
Obviously City WiFi would be key for something like this...

And then all of the script kiddies can take control of them

@johnhooks To plow their own drive ways of course
Or those streets that the city plows refuse to do...
-
I wonder how much they invested in building that Roboplow.
It is a pretty cool system.

Probably as much as just buying a 4 wheeler with a plow. It was not cheap to design and machine those parts, even if they did it themselves.
-
So 5K - 10K
depending on features... lol

Ya, between the machining, the on board charging, motors that are quality enough to be able to fine control, it's got to be expensive.
-
Cities of Snowmageddon I present to you RoboPlow.
Starting price 5K (without a camera or guidance system)
to 10K fully loaded ready to go, and get stuck in a snowbank near you..

I really would love to go get my sandwich and have lunch, but the chatty kathys have taken over the break room... not sure why they have to eat lunch in there (nobody ever does it because there are no chairs). I didn't even have to look at the security cameras to know - they are really that loud.

Just wondering - why?
