What Are You Doing Right Now
-
Anybody heard about the Humble Monthly yet?
-
-
@scottalanmiller Ha ha ha ha . Sweet!
I just got introduced to a new staff member here.
-
There is a marching band practicing on the street in front of my house. Which since we are wide open means there is a marching band inside my house right now.
-
-
That's not many kids for the amount of noise happening out there. I think they might be done now.
-
I don't think so.
-
Listening to the Hurricane Net on 14.325MHz (20meters) right now, but they were talking to a fellow in the Bahamas.
Been checking on the status of Hurricane JOAQUIN all day.
-
You do HAM radio?
-
-
That's awesome. I used to want to do that and have thought about doing that with Liesl who I think would really like it.
-
That band is STILL playing!
-
@scottalanmiller I think after the ~3h mark you're allowed to grab any musical instrument and join in, no matter how poorly.

Sadly I dont' think that we have sausage sizzles in the US (or in Nicaragua.)
Well, if you do end up making it to Australia, we have plenty to go 'round
-
That's a disturbing thought. Welcome to Australia, it's a Down Under Sausage Fest.

I just discovered that there is a site dedicated to posting the location of election day sausage sizzles, aptly labelled as the Democracy Sausage.
Ā
THAT'S SOOOOO FREAKING COOL!
I can have a sausage sizzle while voting for the parliamentary cupcake of my choosing. Bring on the next election!Politicians hand out sausage during elections where you live? I don't think I would eat it...
That's fine, I'll have yours.
I'm pretty sure that the pollies are too busy spruiking themselves and sprouting their party crazy jibber-jabber to man the sausage sizzle stand -

I believe that Germany has sausage fests (that are the wurst ). We have no such celebrations. Most of the time a sausage sizzle is to raise money for a charity or local volunteer organisation like the bush fire brigade or volunteer Ambo's or the local footy club.
If you want to sizzle your sausage, there are a few beaches here where you can do that. Just leave off the sun screen

@johnhooks That's ok. I have lots of life altering movies... such as the Princess Bride, and Spaceballs (I just got the DVD for this one, lol)... among others.
I really need to move the Princess Bride to the top of our watch list. My wife has never seen it.
Mrs. nadnerB despises that movie. I don't mind it but Space Balls is much better IMO.
