Trying to collect logs from Friday afternoon. Log files for a single day (they rotate nightly) are 1.3GB, they are taking a stupid amount of time to load.

Copy to local machine then cat/grep/ open in notepad++ ?

@travisdh1 That works! I haven't had to dig into logs in a while...

Today we're doing AD cleanup and deleting old things that are no longer needed. I just deleted ~300 servers from our Computers OU. I hope they aren't still in use, lol.

Ouch. Sounds like that hasn't been cleaned out... ever!

I'm not perfect at cleanup - but damn - 300 servers.

How many users you have to delete? 1000's?

ha ha ha. If only. We just migrated from Google to O365 for reasons that are above my pay grade, and we just killed just over 40k former student accounts.

EMR Training - I won't need to do to much with it, but it's nice to know what my users will see. We add a EMR person in about two weeks to support it before needing to go to the EMR Vendor.

Shaping up to be another exciting day in the neighborhood.

Had 1 client that has a power strip in their server rack because the existing PDU doesn't have enough power plugs, and one of the power plugs is not working. Took down their internet connection and phone system (they had no idea the phone system was down as well, uses the same internet connection as everything else.)

Now we've got another client that can't print.

                                      Interesting times indeed.
