I tried my hand at some cold brew coffee last night. I let it steep overnight and poured a ~20oz bottle of it this morning. So far... I'm getting... nothing. Not even a light buzz, lol.
Eh you left it for less than a day. . . of course you're not getting anything.

I would recommend letting it go at least 3 days, up to a week or so. Caffeine extraction at low temperature is dependent on time.
^ this when I make my cold brew I let it go for a week!
@RojoLoco @DustinB3403 -- thanks for the advice.
I was just testing the waters to see if I like it or not. I'll probably make my next batch and let it go for at least 48 hours.

Morning everyone. Been running around too much already because we started registration. Playing with my first Surface tablet and its cool but dang its pricy for what it is.
-
Waiting on a quote from xbyte... I finally get to start the move to virtualized servers!!!! Development and testing are first in line.
-
@rojoloco oh sounds fun!
-
@wrcombs they changed all the lighting here to these super bright LED's so even my dark little hole is lit brighter than the sun

Not so conducive for work. Bright lights are for factory workers. Dim lights are for white collar workers with screens.
-
@scottalanmiller tell me about it! The company got some sort of rebate deal or something, but we all know that's a sham and someone's paying for it someplace

I put in some adjustable LED strips in my office and have really helped with reducing my eye strain. I actually believe that it has reduced the frequency of my headaches.

It makes people unproductive, causes eye strain, there's no upside except for the janitorial staff.
-
@scottalanmiller yep I totally agree
-
I use 5k lights everywhere in my house.
I hate anything but full daylight color.
Doesnโt mean you have to be a billion lumens.
-
I turned off the overhead lights in my office like 6 years ago, turned on the under cabinet lights. They are still above eye level, but much less bright than the overhead lights.
People think I like to work in the dark now. But at least the eye strain is lower.

Yeah definitely less light and I just like the color to be full white

I like natural light, but heavily filtered and dim.
