Good to see Linux making gains. Having a decent alternative to Windows that you can run on pretty much any hardware is good. Just need Worlds of Tanks there... 🙂

      Yep, yep, yep.

Not entirely sure what you are asking. Are you asking if System76 is a major factor in increasing Linux adoption? My gut feeling is that they are not. They seem to be really good and I'm really interested in the work that they are doing, but I don't get the feeling that they are making any big waves in the Linux desktop adoption space. They are needed and I am glad that they are around, but I bet you'll find that HP, Dell, Lenovo, Asus, Acer, white boxes and others are still 99% of the Linux users out there.

Given the deployment rates here, I assume that ML has been instrumental in the shift to Linux. How many Korora, Gecko and Deepin installations have we seen in the last six months!

Again, your concept of reality is, odd.

Great news... Now somebody fix the Korora/Fedora issues for my 2012 Macbook pro, and I will officially convert!

Yeah, I could do that. But I can't deny the fact that the laptop is rock solid and just works. I'm just sick of the way MacOS has gone and I'm ready to jump ship to a better OS.

Have you considered testing any other OS besides Korora/Fedora?

However, I can't deny the fact that there are plenty of other laptop options out there with far better battery life. Oh well.

The next OS that I want to test personally is actually Deepin. There seemed to be quite a bit of hype on here for that and it looked slick.

                            No, I haven't actually.
