Anyone playing Final Fantasy XIV? I decided I'm taking the plunge.
I played it for a bit. It's pretty good if you get into it. I actually switched back to WoW when my wife started playing, lol.

My baby quetzal grew up! 4 hours (ish) to hatch, and 25 hours to grow to an adult. The interactions were about 2 hours apart. Unfortunately, I only got a 35% imprint bonus since I didn't interact every 2 hours.
I need to see about adjusting some server settings as I'd like to be down to a 12 hour growth rate. In any case, I now have momma, poppa and child for battle, speed and weight birds, and they're all about 370th level. Pretty wicked! -

Sort of? There's a lot more to it. There are FPS aspects, riding a tamed dino (while shooting), building a base, harvesting resources (like minecraft), exploration, and there are PvP servers if you care for that.

It's in pre-release. Put it on your steam wishlist and try it out when it's on sale. I run a server and can send you an invite.

I rewrote Sky on PEQ from Perl to Lua and fixed a bunch of bugs back in 2014. Just checked the repo and they have it updated for Epic 2.0's now.
Was interesting. It is something I only did a couple times back on Live.

So I named my FFXIV character Krinkle Dink and am the final fantasies version of a gnome (lalafell). I feel pretty good about it

If you like "old style" RPG I suggest you Doom & Destiny Advanced. Or the "first" one, just Doom & Destiny.
