Interesting. Vitelity is having similar issues.

      Portal states the following:

Tuesday October 4th 2016, 8:31am MDT - Receiving reports of inbound call failures. We're investigating the issue now and will update this banner as information becomes available.

Are issues common with this provider? I know that voip.ms is a provider often referred to for use.

@DustinB3403 the fault isn't at VOIP.ms, it's someone in front of them.

@Dashrender I understand that, I guess my question was a more general, are issues common with voip.ms?

No. Never had issues with voip.ms. Of course they have had POP issues. their issue tracker proves it. just never hit a POP I am currently using anywhere.

We've used voip.ms as a backup for some customers. Never any issues that we found.

@JaredBusch obviously it had to effect some people (just not your service).

But it's good to know that they have a good track record.

Any update from Vitelity? I do not have an account there at this time to monitor myself.

"This message is to inform our customers of a nationwide Level 3 phone outage. Due to this outage calls to the EOC cannot be completed"

Mangolassi, providing updates faster than the carriers.

                                    Just a few people affected.

Because of the time, it was likely the west coast was also affected, but not enough people working.

@JaredBusch So just half of the US is reporting outages.

Wow someone at Level 3 is gonna get murdered over this.

I just saw some of our customers come back up a minute ago. I had been testing since @JaredBusch said service was coming back up.

Right. However, you saw service come back up a bit before I could get calls to go through. That was my point. There was obviously some latency along the way.
