AT&T Labs used to have a site, which doesn't seem to want to come up currently.
Try this out and see what it does for you. The US Crystal voice is decent.
With Speed2 it seem decent and useable. Thanks!

I do the recordings myself. I have a few drinks and channel my best Nick Offerman.

Forgot I have used this one also.

VoiceBunny.com has a lot of different talent on their site. Haven't used them yet, but keep them in my back pocket in case a client wants some professional voice.

We have a lady at our office with a very nice articulate speaking voice. I finagle her with Starbucks occasionally and she updates the holiday message when needed.

When I used Digium, their default voice actor was available for hire. I had her do some recordings for prompts that were aways in use or regularly scheduled. For other unexpected or very dynamic items people would either hear me or someone else if I coerce them into recording it.

I have done professional recording in the past and have the equipment here to do so. So hence why we do our own. I have had a few others do it in the past.

Same here. I got one of my old jobs specifically because I had an audio engineering degree... and boy, did I use it. Recorded and edited all the phone prompts for an IVR system in 4 languages (the HR lady had a nice voice and could speak German, so she was the voice talent). In fact, I'm preparing to do a new auto attendant greeting at my current company. And of course, I'll do a fancy one for the IT department's voice mail, complete with music.

We keep ours really simple. Someday maybe I will do separate ones but honestly we answer our phones 99% of the time so don't need voicemails etc. all setup special.
-
@MattSpeller We really need to make our own greetings.
