anyone a whizz with Pi's?
Cheese Whiz doesn't go with Pi so well..... ok, now that that's out of my system.
I wouldn't call myself a whizz, but I've gotten sensors and LED blocks running on them before. What project are you wanting to work on?
Trying to get my TriPi working on my Pi3, but it's not playing ball
Boots on my Pi1 (and then errors because the retropi is the pi2/3 version) but my 3 just sits on the colour splash screen...
I'm gonna have to check out TriPi. Has it been updated for the Pi3 yet?
Officially, not that I can see (last image I can find is 4.0 - released before the 3 was...)...but I'm thinking it SHOULD work because it's the same base surely..? Just with extra features...
But yeah, it's nice, Kodi, RetroPi and Raspberrian all in one...
My experience with Raspi's tells me it most likely won't run well anyway. Not to ruin your hopes and dreams or anything. I think Pi's are really good at keeping specific things cost effective (like honeypots).
It does run well I've had it working on my 1 and 2...
Oh I missed that, my bad. I'm surprised but happy that's the case. I'll try it out

Yeah, it's nice, basically a Triple boot, but you can switch between each one easily, with native xbox 360 controller support...so you can switch from old school games to new movies etc easily and effortlessly...and use a desktop when you want to...

If we never hear from you again I will assume you went to live with your Canadian ancestors.

About to head to lunch, once again fighting the urge to eat my own face

As is the rightful path for all Canadians.

Just finished setting up a gluster volume between the two XenServers. If something happens to the main server, I can boot the basics on the other box now

I went on lunch and held the door open for a random guy and he held the door open for me at the same time, neither of us willing to budge. I looked him in the dead of his eyes and said "canadian standoff?" He didn't think it was that funny.

I'm busy fixing others mistakes, great start to a Friday morning...
I wish I had another person here to fix their mistakes but sadly I am a one man shop
You can hire me to fix your mistakes and randomly make new ones for you to fix.

Are you finally going to wrestle a moose to win the right to wear that Canadian mustache you've been showing off on your ML account?

Moose wrasslin' and Beaver bobbin' were outlawed in the 60's as being cruel and unusual punishment to humans.
These days we just get a kids pool full of KY or Jello and have at it with naked strippers like the rest of the world.

Well,.. updated a few servers,.. and waited... and waited... and waited... two full hours for the VMHost to restart... holy cow...
If you hear from me before 9am - it'll be under severe protest....
For anyone keeping track -
Crashed about 1:45am,.. up at 7:am with a boy not feeling well. Started day, Doctors office called at 9am, visit at 10am, and back home by noon.
Closed a few tickets, and here we are now..

just sorted my morning stuff out, got a redbull on the go (other energy drinks are available, at any major retail store), still puzzled why my new Pi3 wouldnt boot with an image that worked fine on a Pi2 last night though (any ideas?) and not doing much else right now!
Curious... I was under the impression you could do just that.
Can you build a new image for the Pi3 and try that? without toasting the build you currently have?
