Hiding in a bunker waiting for the Y2K bug to kill everyone

Oh man do I remember that. Kids today will never understand what bizarre panic was going on that year.

I remember it, lots of panic.

I was working at Flexsteel Industries at the time. As a side job, I had to come in and do some bios upgrades on older 286's at one place. (The kind where you have to pry the eeprom chip out and replace it.

I was working for AT&T SBC ASI as Tier 1 DSL installation support. Average queue times were about 20 minutes. Fun people to talk to.

Since we are pulliing out the wayback machine, also I was running this..

Started cabling things when i started working for Time Warner and i got my first computer and internet. I didnt go to school for IT for a few more years but i knew that was my path. Pulling cables is still my favorite thing to do. Love climbing around in a drop ceiling or driving a lift around a retail store or cubicle farm.
